Just picked up my first two of these and can't wait to give one a try. I fogot to confirm which size I bought since they only had one available...the other two sizes sold out. However, I think it is the L600 because it looks to be about the same as one of the regular Ligero L500s. Just guessing. Has anyone else tried one yet?

They are out there...at least at my shop. Says he already sold one box each of all sizes.

Smoked my first DL600 last night. Got a 5-pack last week and will be back for more. Saying this one is double the strength and flavor of the regular line would not be an understatement. Wow! This one is an even match IMHO to the JDNA 1970 in strenght but with completely different flavor profiles.

The DL600 is very heavy in the hand with nice construction. Torched the foot, set it ablaze and quickly noted the perfect draw and volumes of smoke. The flavor rich and full immediately. I usually don't assess until after about 1/4 inch or so, but this DL600 was a winner right out of the gate. It burned absolutely perfectly all the way to my burnt fingernails. I never had to pick up my torch after the initial light.

I really liked the full load of ligero in this version. It's very potent with a somewhat sweet, only slightly peppery taste on the finish. But the strength, man o man I've got to find more of these. IMHO, the DL has as much full richness to the taste as does an Antano have in overwhelming spicy goodness.

Both as I've noted are just about even in knock you down and take notice potency. The JDNA is a better price but the DL is not far off, and since they possess the full-bodied goodness I enjoy, the JDNA will have to make room in the humi and place nicely with this new DL600

Great review jd! Looks like I'm gonna have to keep my eye out for some of these. I love the JDNA's so I can't wait to give the DL a go :)

Glad you liked it. I'm headed out of town next week, but when I get back I should start lurking at my locals again. I'll keep my eyes open for you.
