I've been thinking about bidding for some of these and am interested in "Thoughts From the Forum."

The Encanto is a mild flavorful cigar. Great for mowing the yard or playing golf. If it gets wet or you forget to pick it up you haven't lost a lot of money. I picked some up here on cbid for .50 each. Can't give you any help on the other two.

The La Estellas have been frequently criticized within the C-bid community, but I will break ranks here and say that I really enjoy them on occasion when I want a milder smoke. The taste is very pleasant, though not profound. The secret is aging them for quite a while. When fresh, they frequently present with a very hard draw, which is both annoying and ruins the taste. I also find these very good for handing out to newbies who can't handle a more full-bodied smoke.

Haven't tried the other two...sorry.

Had a couple of Cremosas. They were very smokable...not a bad everyday type cigar for the financially challenged like myself. However, expect it to reflect what you pay for it.

00camper,

I happen to enjoy the occasional La Estella stick myself. Let me know if you want to try some before you buy. I have a few extra, and I am sure we can work something out.

camper,

I'd be willing to work something out for a couple Cremosas and a few other of my favorite everyday type smokes if you want...

I like the La Estrella as a very infrequent change of pace. I'm usually more into fuller bodied cigars but IF aged well, and is long enought, I like it for an early morning cigar. My experience is that construction, burn and draw are all pretty good.

Thanks to all for the reviews. And thanks Peter and Billy for the offers to trade, but I really only have lowbrow cigars like Hoja de Nicaragua, Regalos and Alteza in quantity to trade.

The La Estrella wrapper is cured in Sangria wine (but doesn't affect the flavor as best as I can tell). This accounts for the deep red color that sometimes stains your fingers.

All of these are decent mild cigars that are worth trying. I probably wouldn't buy a box/bundle of any, but 5-packs can usually be had pretty cheap.
