To everyone from octowings,

I know this is off subject, but heed the warning.

My home computer is back up and running again.
knock on wood. First time I ever had a worm
in my computer.

You all really need to patch your computers.
I lucked out and was able to fix it myself.

Here is a link to CNN. It talks about the virus.

http://www.cnn.com/2003/TECH/internet/08/12/windows.worm/index.html

Download the patch at windowsupdate.microsoft.com

Hope 'yall haven't been affected yet.

One of my few disciplines is to download the latest critical patches as soon as Microsoft makes them available.

Yeah...it gave us at Baylor University hell yesterday. Luckily, technology services busted their rear to get the library up and running quickly. Hopefully, they were able to handle the rest of campus likewise. Glad they were here...

Don't mind the 2 MP3's up there, they're for my friend :) If you want them, I guess I could "Share" them with you :)
