this administration is sp full of s**t, the whole bunch should be locked up. why didn't they use the tax cut money to take care of the troops that are in 120 + heat and getting killed almost every day.

tell me again how wonderful bush is, with his 30 day vacation on his "ranch" that all the rest of the people that live in that area call farms.

OK I'll type this really slow so that both of you Bushwackers understand, well that and I type really slow. ;0)

GW is not cutting the funding, the funding is due to expire and CONGRESS must aprove extending the benifits or not. There is little GW can do about it until CONGRESS puts it in front of him.Rick I know you probably new that but just couldn't resist posting more of your anti-Bush propaganda. NICE TRY! NOT!

Yo Rick: Liberals, liberals they see a crack in the pavement and yell earthquake. All departments in our government have to submit budget cuts but it's up to congress to decide on what gets cut. If you think with all that's going on that they would actually make those military cuts your goofy. Rick you never fail to amaze me, do you believe that George Bush who has the most stressful job in the world does not deserve a vacation and should not be allowed to call his spread in Texas a ranch if he chooses to do so. However what truly amazes me is that you personally flew to Texas and actually talked to all the people that have surrounding property and they confided in you that they call their property farms. Once again more liberal bull**** brought to you by Mr. Maven. JonR

" truly amazes me "

wow. i may change my handle to rickamazing.

he doesn't have a stressful job. stress in not inherent in an event, but in how it is perceived. since he has no perception, ergo, he is not under stress.

i liked you when i met you and i still think you are a nice guy.

i don't remember seeing anything from the bully pulpit suggesting to congress that we ahould do everything in our power to help the people on the front lines, dying for his cause, and their families.

i read 700 to 800 words a minute, so type away.

and because i think you are a nice guy, i'll through in the missing "k"

Honestly, I've gotten that pay. It doesn't realy matter much when your out there. The last thing on your mind is that extra 250 bucks. Its nice to throw some extra tax free money at us but it won't make up for my friends that don't come back. And it won't make it up to my family if I die. The fact is it's bonus money. I didn't ask for it, and it wasn't my reason for being there. Uncle Sam should keep the money and put it towards quality of life for the troops. Like a shower maybe that has hot water. Or even a washing machine so you don't have to do it by hand. My family is taken care of. They have a place to live, my paycheck, a hospital and other benefits that other people don't even see. George Bush is one of the best things to happen for this country and its military.

Rick,

I can't believe you've fallen for the oldest trick in the political book. Nobody's going to cut this hazard pay. Your article already stated that it is fully included in the Senate version of the appropriation biil and partially in the House version. They've got six weeks to iron out the differences.

Let's see, the Petagon pulls up a little short on all their needs. Now if they said they needed another $300 million for the Crusader artillery development program, nobody listens and they don't get their money. However, $300 million for the troops and everyone will jump on board to increase the Pentagon's budget, even the Democrats who are terrified of being not supportive of the military. Look who first put out the information on the situation, the Pentagon.
The Pentagon publicized with 6 weeks to go so there is plenty of time to boost the appropriations bill. This was no scandal that the San Francisco Chronicle discovered. You were supposed to take this information and declare a public outcry. Now it will all take care of itself. Politics is politics.

Where will the extra money come from? Various projects in Rep. ****** Gephardt's district and Sen. Tom Daschle's district of course! They'll even be a little extra thrown in that will get used for some environmental mitigation project in the San Fran area to pay off your Senators Boxer and Feinstein. Works like a charm every time, regardless of who is in power.

How does it feel to be doing the Pentagon and Donald Rumsfeld's bidding? Can you hear the voices: "Luke, I'm your father."

I'm sorry, I've sat here and listened to this nonsense for too long. First just let me say this, for all of us that share a common bond with cigars we also share one with being American's. If thats not good enough then let me buy you a ticket out of here. Now that I said that I may upset some and maybe not but I don't care at this point. For those who think GW is wrong, bad, and corupt apperantly didnt do their homework. Also for those who think our troops are over there doing his bidding is also a fool. We all signed the paper to serve one thing and one thing only, Our Beloved Country!. He is not a team of one but of many. If you think that he can call the shots alone then apperantly you dont know politics too well. I support him and what he has done. I did not support clinton but will not bash him for what I feel he did, its only my opinion. All I can say is if you dont like it fine, quit the whining and vote. If you cant seem to vote then quit whining or get the he77 out my country.

Oh and by the way ajeroth... All I can Say to you is...HOORAH!!!! Thank you so much.

heh, Rick didn't fall for any tricks, he's trying to get everyone else to fall for them!!

Here's an example of a Bush review written by Rick:

"Buy line, somewhere off the coast"

"George W Bush and the Pope are out on a boat fishing. The wind is up. The Pope's tall hat blows off and lands in the water. The pilot of the boat said, let me bring it around so we can pick it up. W says, belay that. Gets up, steps off the boat, walks across the water, gets the hat, walks back to the boat and gives it back to the Pope. Rick's account of the event? "Bush can't swim!!"

It’s all in the spin baby!

good to see you respond and offer your opinion instead of keping in inside making you upset or angry.

may i suggest that if my opinion is different then yours, mine does not then become nonsense.

one man's ranting is another man's whining.

"my country" do you have a flag. (if you don't understand the reference, don't feel bad, not many eddie izzard fans on the board.)

i will be happy to accept any cash as travel money. but understand it will be spent on wine women, and depravity right here in "my country"

i quote you "GW is wrong, bad, and corupt"
see what happens when things are taken out of context

Actually its not take out of context only mis-quoting someone. Theirs a difference. And if you whole heartedly believe GW is that bad bring to the table some proof. Then I will be willing to listen.

i'm not sure where you break it, if you do.

i quoted him exactly. so not a misquote. leaving out what he said Before and after is out of context.

if you want some sites to check out yourself, i will be happy to oblige.

No I am not afraid, I always choose my battles wisely and this is not one I see being one that is worth my time. I have to much going on that I must at times choose not to debate any further on a topic even if I feel that Ican win or know I will loose. So I must at this time withdraw. Oh and by the way, what are you talking about using my e-mail address? and for what?

re email: a joke on my part, a bit of humor, and a chance to use the word nefarious which i haven't used for a while.

it doesn't matter who wins or loses, it's how you play the game. (i can't remember who said that.)
