Has anyone ever used it and won something at a price that was less than your maximum bid?

Yeah............unless I put my auto-bid price in the bid now box, which I'm wont to do on occasion. If you'
re quick enough you can rectify the problem by using the modify bid feature, but I usually just let it go because I'm so disgusted at myself............

You are lucky arwings.

I've made that same mistake before, and when I tried to modify my bid, right after, the system wouldnt let me do it. And I mean I tried immediately after making the mistake.

I often bid early in the "bidding week" and then check on Tues. or Wed. to see how I've done and maybe pickup a few 5-packs. It's often a pleasant surprise to find I've lucked out and gotten a smokin' deal (pun intended) on My bids.

donutboy,
I have gotten boxes at about half of the retail.
Others that were 80% of retail.
I would guess that it all depends on the sticks and what you like.

Hmmmmm............below "retail" is a subjective term. I'm beginning to wonder; is retail the MSRP, is it an average of what vendors charge, is it what CI charges (and if so, does any site that charges below CI prices, sell at "below retail"), point of fact is, I just can't tell anymore!
