I have been to 5 stores this week looking for them. Went to 2 new ones today, the first guy said he stopped selling them because they "always had bug problems".
The second guy had them. An assortment with the Full Sail being the likely cherry popper for me. (No Z's or Salsas). They were heavily marked and I asked for his opinion if they were plumed or mold. He said definitely plume.
We walk to the counter to pay, and I notice "plume" on the end of the stick...I told him that this was mold, and I wasn't interested and left.

I still have my bucc cherry :-(

Wow ... I've never seen a Buc yet with beetles ... I wonder if it was from his 'housekeeping'.

I recently got a little mold on a couple of my Salsas, but I just wiped it off ... and that was due to 'my' housekeeping ... ;^)

mrt - I just pulled a Buc Classico out of my humi tonight after about 2 months sitting. It has plume all over it, including the head. I know it was plume and not mold because none of my other cigars that are in the same humi have mold. None have the same amount of plume either. I think it must have something to do with the tobacco Buc uses for their cigars. I just got another shippment of Classicos today (damn Cbid!) that I'm going to let sit for a while in my humi and see if they get as much plume on them.

I say go back and get a few of them because you'll want more than one after smoking your first.

Maybe, but I dont think so. I was pretty sure the Gar was molded anyway, but was going to brush it and smoke. Plus the mold on the end was a big hunk.
