Former New York Gov. Mario Cuomo endorsed a prospective
presidential bid by Hillary Clinton on Sunday, predicting that she will beat President Bush if she enters the presidential race next year.

"I would support her in a flash if she came into the race, absolutely," Cuomo told The New York Post. "I believe she would have an excellent chance to defeat President Bush and, yes, I believe she would win."

Cuomo's endorsement comes despite Bill and Hillary
Clinton's decision last year to pull the rug out from
under his son Andrew, who was forced to abandon his own
bid to become New York governor when the Clintons
announced they were backing New York State Comptroller
Carl McCall in the race.

Hillary denies she is running for president, but, as Carl Limbacher, author of "Hillary's Scheme: Inside the Next Clinton's Ruthless Agenda to Take the White House" reports, Hillary may be using Mr. Cuomo's strategy in 1992, when he said he had no plans to run, but laid the groundwork for a run.

Mr. Cuomo, like Hillary, held the Democratic race in
suspension, as he waited until the last minute to decide. The last minute was filing for the New Hampshire primary. Cuomo even had a jet ready to take him on the day registration closed. In the end Cuomo decided not to run.

This time Hillary may take the plunge, Limbacher says. The deadline for registering in New Hampshire is Nov. 21,2003.

Limbacher also notes that in backing Hillary now, Mr.
Cuomo also had to overlook the Clintons' history of
Hillary's husband uttering anti-Italian slurs.

In 1992, Mr. Clinton agreed on tape with his then
girlfriend Gennifer Flowers, after she suggested that
Cuomo had "some major Mafioso connections."

"He sure acts like one," Clinton replied.

In 1998, while campaigning on behalf of then-Rep. Chuck
Schumer, who was seeking to unseat Clinton nemesis Sen.
Alfonse D'Amato, the former first lady repeatedly referred to D'Amato in stump speeches as "Al Tomato."

This coming Saturday Sen. Clinton is set to meet with top political advisors to decide when she should officially announce her presidential campaign.

Enjoy!!!

It's scary, but she probably has a decent chance of winning.

if cuomo (sr, not the son) had run for the presidency, he would have won over anybody. he leans towards the side of helping humanity's unfortunate.

"as "Al Tomato." come on, you guys usually say al bore. just silly on both sides.

i don't like hillary on a personal level. she has a dull ring of a cheap glass or the dead clink of a counterfit coin. i think she has grandiose ideas about herself. she reminds me of an aunt i had who was a big shot on the board of education, but had no interest in children. as a matter of fact she half blinded one of her own by throwing a fork at her kids face and hitting her in the eye.

hillary strikes me as a cold, calculating c**t. not that all politicians aren't cold and calculating, but she has an aura of "i know i'm better then everyone and you all should see that" can you blame bill for getting sex someplace? how would you like to climb into bed with her every night?

we know that bush is vulnerable in spite of the trillions he has accumulated for his war chest. iraq hasen't turned out the way everyone hoped. the economy is still in the garbage. people ae hurting. the phrase "are you better off now then you were 4 years ago" will start making the rounds.

her promise to complete her term as senator was and is so obviously BS. she wants to be the first female president. i know she will be called shemale soon enough.

i think she can play as dirty as any republican and probably better. bush may say he has been chosen by god, but hillary will say, under her breath, i have been chosen by a higher power, ME.

i doubt that she would make a decent president, because of her self interest, but if she thinks this is the time to beat bush, she'll jump in.

if a democrat does get in, she will have to wait 8 years to run again. i don't think she has the patience. in spite of some of her stupid emarks about baking cookies, i'd give her 70% or more of the women's vote and 60% of all the "monorities" vote.

i'd bet on her winning by over 53% of the vote.

if she is going to play, she needs to put on a jockstrap and get into the game pretty soon.

I did and do think she will run in 2004... she cannot stand to not have that "Dynasty" and who else does the Democratic Party have to toss against the Republicans? I honestly don't think she would Win... and the fraze you used C**T in the Biker World is viewed "Can't Understand Normal Thinking" and that is a Fact!!!! you hit the nail on the head!!!
in the coming months things will get interesting...

as far as Bush and the handelings in Iraq... the % has dropped but not by much and there is still allot of time here... keep an eye on the rest of the Arab World!!!

The local morning news show reported on the results of a poll that said that two-thirds of Americans could not name one Democratic Presidential candidate. When given a list of candidates, most did recognize at least one name.

If Hillary entered the race, this is one problem she would not have.

I was a working stiff (happy Labor Day)in NY State throughout the Cuomo years and have to say he did more for the middle class in those years than any Governor of any state in my memory. He fought through the NYC bankruptcy mess as well. He is someone who knows the arena. So all of my friends out there with elephant ears, heed what he says. It would be interesting. I would love to be a fly on Ann Coulter's wall if HC does announce. It would be worth it just to see her stroke out.
