Had a #500 today and noticed it was a lot like the regular Fuente line and much much cheaper, 1/2 the price. I know they're both made by Fuente, but the La Unica was just as good as the more expensive green band Fuente line but unlike their more expensive cousin, they come in bundles. Anyone else notice this almost identical flavor?

Never had a #500 but the La Unica line I have smoked are wonderful cigars that like you say rival their counterparts. Like the Cuesta-Rey's also from that line.

I tried the somewhat more expensive La Unica Cameroon a few months back and was disappointed. I had heard only good things but it was very inconsistent. I haven't tried their regular line though.

The La Unica is a great smoke, and a bargin for the price paid. Though I am not fond of the maduro wrapped cigars from La Unica. The camaroon line is pretty damn good also. They do cost a bit more but, hey you get a awesome looking band!
