huh??? Huh??? LMAO!!!!

The Cards had the Game!!!! and it slipped away!!!!

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/columns/story?columnist=rogers_phil&id=1607912

For the first time since 1908, Chicago welcomed in a September with baseball teams on both sides of town pushing to make the playoffs. So, of course, on Monday it rained and rained and rained.

But after waiting 34,669 days for a day such as this, what's another 4 hours, 17 minutes?

That's how long about 20,000 rain-soaked fans hung out at Wrigley Field before the Labor Day matinee began. The Cubs and their backers certainly weren't complaining about having to cool their heels for so long, not after a 7-0 victory to open the five-game series against St. Louis.

We'll See

aaarrgggh

I grew up in St. Louis, left in 1984, but I am still a huge Cards fan.
We don't have the relief pitching this year to go far..

If the Cards don't make it, I will always cheer for the cubbies.

But I think that if they (Cubs) ever win, the world will spin off axis and I'll start liking Garcia Vegas again...

Some things are better left as is!!

LMAO @ Mrtelcom!!!!! LMFAO!!!!!

ya know I think your on to something there!!!!!

I have always been a Cub Fan... when I was a Kid I had two paper routs.. a buddy of mine was a Cards Fan... we would always bet and 90% of the time I would lose... I learned allot over the years looking back... 1.I could have probably been a millionare had I not Gambled all my Paychecks away.
2.never bet on anything that isn't a sure win.
3. Never alow yourself to get so wrapped up in something it leaves you pennyless by the end of the week!!!! (Exception would be CBid)

I'll probably always be a Cub Fan unless they don't make the pennet and the town kicks them out to another Town LOL

I also root for the Cards when they are doing good... living in Central Illinois it's hard to stay with one team... unless their playing each other!!!

Hog - I'm a Red Sox fan, so I feel your pain. Every single year, same thing.....this is THE year. Sox win - highest of highs. Sox lose - lowest of lows. I go through this every year, and keep coming back for more. I better stop talking right now - thoughts of Bill Buckner and his inability to bend over and get his glove to the ground are filling my head.....

VIVA LA BUD GRANT!!!!

Vikings win the NFC North in 2003! BOOK IT!

Dont get to excited Cub fans cuz Baker will do his best to screw things up. Baker handles a pitching staff like a bad little league coach.

GO GIANTS! 13 games up and pullin away!

Beat,

Just because he is sticking with Estes who has the worst ERA out of any starter in the NL doesn't mean he doesn't know how to handle a pitching staff.....LOL

I'm a Padres fan,as I live in the Sandy Eggo area but I've always been a closet Cubs and Bosox fan. I'd love to see a Cubs v Red Sox WS. BTW,yesterday's game was great,I'd loved to have been there. I love looking at La Russa's face when the Cards get beat like this. X

I really thought the Cubs were going to the WS back in '94. Seems to be the curse of the Cubs I guess...

Thank God I am a Braves fan. They disappoint me all the time too.

A Cubs/Red Sox World Series???

Armageddon: n 1: any catastrophically destructive battle; 2: Red Sox and Cubs playing each other for the World Series

Two pretty exciting teams in Chicago. My girl is from Hyde Park and is a diehard White Sox fan...this year...

But Cubs fans are for real. Y'all deserve it, but I don't see it happening. I'd like to be wrong.
