I will be in Albuquerque, NM on Wednesday and Thursday this week. Are there any good places to smoke a cigar there?

I was there recently. There was the chain store at the mall we all know and love, but not much else. I did clean them out of AF sungrown double chats. I only found a listing for one other cigar store, but was never able to locate it. As far as places to smoke 'em if you got 'em... well, I just don't think they smoke cigars much in Albequerque. Salt Lake City was surprisingly much more accomodating. Though not nearly as much as Vegas. Just go to Vegas. (but bring your own)

Used to be a shop with a private club that was very friendly and comfortable in Santa Fe, about 45 min up the hill. Think the name was the Santa Fe Cigar Company. If I can find more I'll post. Was invited into the club for a drink after buying a few cigars at the shop but that was a few years ago.

Hey,
I don't know about some cigar bars but you can smoke in most bars in town (I don't get out much any more). They just passed an ordinance, however, that prevents smoking in restaurants. Establishments that get more than 50% of their revenue from the bars still allow smoking. It's a pretty laid back place and if you go in somewhere, you just ask if it is allowed. I've never seen the kind of signs you see in the airports saying "no cigars or pipes". There are several casinos right outside of town, and you can definitely light up in there.

As for shops, there are a couple of really good shops in town (probably smaller than you are used to), but the prices are right. At one, I've been able to get some FFOX for $7-15 depending on size.

Let me know if I can be of any more help.
