um... wrong boards. More importantly; Why do you have a Mayorga Robusto 5-pack for $18, that's $3.60 each! You can get a BOX for $40.

I agree. These prices are no where close to cheap. Sorry to burst your bubble. Better look for newbies who have no concept of prices.

Cmon guys...Give the young entrepeneur (sp?) a break...His prices aren't THAT high...I saw a couple good deals there...I hate it when some sellers charge insane shipping fees (ex: sending items USPS Priority mail (which costs $3.20) and charging five or more bucks, increasing their profits)...I didn't see that on his auctions...That's my pet peeve.

I don't have any problems with entrepeneurs. But advertising a competing auction on Cigarbid is not in the best taste. I'll stick with Cigarbid. I've never been disappointed.

oh just spiffing, how in the world do you still remember that?! I was just starting to come out from under my rock, when you had to bring it up. You know the Don Carlos incident was one among many. I also agree with Rookie, I hate high shipping cost. I won a magazine on ebay cheap, and the sod comes back telling me shipping cost is $12! Hell with that. But Rookie, as a person doing extensive mail order, there are other costs involved. The most expensive is the damn credit card fees. I pay between 2.5 to 3% of the transaction when a credit card is used to the credit card provider. So sure I add a bit on to shipping cost to help cover that. I also have to buy mailing supplies, though the post office does come to my shop, let's me order all the boxes, labels, tape, etc. I want and they ship it to me free! But I buy other boxes for non priority shipping. So I don't blame CI for adding a bit to the cost of shipping, the auction I won the other day cost $5.50 to ship, even though actual cost was $3.20 priority, but they have to pay people to box it up, and those credit card fees, so I do cut some slack. Also shipping cost are going way up in January, especially priority shipping.

You are correct about it being in bad taste to post here...I do recall others doing the same thing here...My beef was people giving the guy some flak for his prices...jack, you're the only one that mentioned the fact that he broke the cardinal rule on Cigarbid...He IS selling and not trading...I wasn't thinking about that at the time of my post.

I have checked out the Yahoo site and emailed several of the vendors. No one responds. I believe it is mostly a retail outlet for people that don't know better. Note all of the "bargins" have reserve prices.
