Has anyone tried these?
I got one in a sample pack from CI as a replacement for a Leon Jimenes Robusto. I'm not complaining.
I just want to know if I got a good one or if it is a pretty decent cigar.
Thanks all.

Standard La Aurora's run from $2.50 - 3.25 a stick. The La Preferidos lines go for better than $10.00 a stick with the Platinum and Maduro tubos pushing $12.50 and up. The entire line is of excellent quality and construction. The standard line is a tad mild but a great smoke none the less. The Preferidos line is a little bolder, especially the Maddie but hardly worth $12.50.

I've had a La Aurora Maduro, and it was nice, medium-mild smoke of excellant quality.

0patience --- IMHO ... the replacemnt sticks are better than what you originally won ...

... though the Leon Jimenes is a very good mild cigar, if you like mild cigars ...

Slim- agree with you on the Leon Jimenes Nat's.. too
mild for my taste but the Mad's IMHO are a very tasty
smoke.

I happen to like the Leon Jimenes Maddies, they have a nice, semi-full flavour, produce a nice amount of smoke without much effort, and are very well made.

I think it is generally agreed that the LJ Nats are very mild, but not a disagreeable smoke.

IMHO.

Op,
I'd have to agree with Slimboli, the Aurora is a better smoke than your winner. I particularly like the Maduros. I've also had the Perferdios maduro which is a particularly flavorful smoke, but a bit more pricey.

Thanks!
It was pretty good and I liked it.
It was in one of the All Star samplers.
Cbid is spoiling me with this kind of thing. LOL!

Agree with Slim. La Aurora has the edge on Leon. Besides, the last 3 Leon's I had were plugged.

As with most people here (probably) we can only assume that it is the standard LaA line since it replaced a Leon. Never had a standard but are a fan of the 1903 Prefs. If you like the standard, try to get a Pref in a trade or something. They can be pricey and I've read several people say they aren't worth the price.

But it isn't the first thing I've disagreed with on here!!!!
