i am working on my first bundle of luna lhb's, that is a nice smoke! anyone know how the reserve compares? it seems to go for alot of money, but is ti worth it? I found the regular 5 Vegas to be tastier than its reserve counterpart, and I am wondering if the same might be true with luna?
thanks for the lead on one of my new favorites!

I still have yet to try the LHB's, but I like the reserves as well as the MF's. As for miami smokes, I recently tried the E. Trinidad by Sosa and had to buy more right away. A good medium smoke with pleasant a pleasant spicy flavor. Also, I actually like the Havana Sunrise if you can find the miami-made version. I always get a lot of crap for mentioning them, but I've had good luck and all of my cigar smokin buddies like them as well. Have not had the ones made out of the country, but I hear they are not as good. Go figure...

Had a reserve that was gifted to my by a friend in TX. It was full flavored but smooth with a spicy ecuadorian finish. A good smoke if you can get them, well aged too since they have been sitting since 96!

The LaLuna 1996 Reserva was only made in 1996 so when it's gone, it's gone for good. They are EXCELLENT cigars. My favorite cigars period.

The LaLuna LHB is supposed to go back into production sometime this year. LaLuna is currently producing Maduro Fuertes and African Fuertes. Late this spring there are plans to release the Natural Fuerte.

I got this info from an interview on CigarWeekly, an on-line cigar magazine.

The '96 Reserva's as was said were a reserve line and are simply sold out. A few places like CB et. al. have been selling them off for cheap.
