I just had my first "aged" Mayorga. I bought a box about 3 or 4 months ago, after reading all the posts about how good they were. I smoked a couple when the box first arrived. Ah, they were OK, but nothing spectacular. But, yesterday was another story! Flavorful, spicy, creamy...Thanks all for the Mayorga suggestion. Like the board said, they just need a little aging!

They actually age relatively quickly. It takes about two monthes and they're ready. They seem a little wet right out of the box. Definitely worth the wait!

My favorite smoke hands down taking in consideration price, value, and taste.

the reason that your cigar improved so much is that mayorgas are shipped quite wet. the three months in your humidor simply lets them dry out a bit, thus they improve a great deal. try aging a box for a couple years then try one, that's a true aged cigar.
