They make some tasty crap where you live.
Fuente maddies are right below the SG. IMHO

I have to fully agree with Dan, AFuente maddies are very smooth, very flavorful, and the construction is second to none.
You may of had a bad stick, try one with a nice complimentary beverage and I am sure it will grab ya!

Oh lithotom ...
... and I suppose you are including the 'Work of Art' Maduro, 858 Maduro, 'Untold Story', and the Hemingway 'Classic', 'Signature' and 'Masterpiece' Maduros (just to name a few) ...
... in your broad generalization?

I'll be the first to admit... I don't care for to many of Fuente's Cigars... to "Heavy" in my book but I also don't tend to Favor DR cigars in general.. but I do like to smoke their Maduro line on Occasions...
a friend of mine from work always gets the Fuente seconds by the bundle... their a Maduro... and when I see him on weekends we'll do some trading...
I think there called Special Selections??
JMO...

Also, I'm wondering if lithotom is including the Newman lines, such as the Cuesta Rey Maduro, and the other Fuente factories, such a the La Unica Maduro, Rigoletto and Sosa Maduro ...

I've never seen Fuente seconds before, but didn't realize that they would be counterfeit if I had. Thanks for the link Gardener.

The cigars in question would be Curley Heads. They are made by Fuente. They do say Special Selection or Reserve, (something like that) on the band.
Not really considered seconds. Not really 'Premiums' either. More af a bargain cigar.

In my book if I had to support one manufacture it would be Fuente. I mean come on Opus, Diamond Crown, Ashton, Hemmingways, Don Carlos. What more do you want?

Those little curley head deluxes are some sweeeet sticks. The price is right too and if you have enough beers, and close your eyes while smoking one, you might be able to trick your brain into thinking your smoking an Opus without the pricetag. :)
