Anyone read these books. So far I've found 3. Just started "Smoking OUt a Killer"...first two pages already named Partagas and H. Upmann by name. I don't suspect it will be a great read, but I gotta hand it to the author (Harry Paul Lonsdale - pen name???) for taking a love and knowledge of cigars and putting it in a novel.

Finished this in one day...which is good for me. Not a bad murder mystery...pays homage to Agatha Christie, et al that have pioneered the genre. Also, plenty of cigar references, although cigars have nothing to do with the actual case. Two more in the series...started on the second one.

Basically, Nick Chase is a retired homicide detective that now owns a cigar shop. A retired Harvard history professor lives upstairs and writes murder mysteries based on Nick and his experience.

Oh well...just filling anyone in who cares to waste time reading the post!!!!
