Well, I regret to say that my Giants lost the series against the Marlins. I wish they would have been able to start Jason Schmidt. I guess he had a minor injury that the Giants didnt want to aggrevate.

The Marlins were the better team in this series, but I still believe the Giants were better during the season. They went wire to wire in 1st place in their division. This has only happened 9 times in all of baseball history.

But its time to hang up the cleats and gloves for the Giants. It was quite a ride this season while it lasted. I'm proud of the SF Giants.

At least they didnt give up. Tough loss, but a great season none the less.

I had a Partagas Serie D#4 resting for the WS victory so I guess I will have to save it for after the Vikings win the Super Bowl!

I am a life-long Dodger fan, so, having had our playoff hopes dashed by SF in the past many times, I take special satisfaction in this...but, most importantly, that was a fantastic game.

I feel bad for Giants fans, when I step outside of the LA/SF rivalry. That was a heartbreaker of the highest degree.

There's always Oakland for the Bay Area types. It's been a good couple of years for that area.
