A lot has been said about the tasty Flor De Oliva Grand Cameroon, and I just tried my first Grand Maduro which was sent to me by Jack (thanks again). Funny thing about the Maduro series is that the band simply says "Oliva" and not "Flor De Oliva". Although I think the Cameroons have this Maduro beat, I confirmed my previous thoughts: The Maduro wrapper is best when box pressed. Any thoughts?

I've smoked several "Oliva" Grand Maduros now, and think they're quite good. I would call the ones I've gotten locally a robusto, except they might be a tad short. Well worth the $3.25 apiece, and bet you can get a cheaper box here on cigarbid .

Grand Maduros are definitely worth the price. The FDO Robustos are 4 1/2" long. Most Robustos come in at 5".
I've been paying approx $50 per box of 24. Very tasty!

Grand Maduros are a top notch medium priced smoke. I am glad to see some sense returning to the cigar industry. I can remember not so long ago that these sticks would fetch upwards of 7.00 at your local tobbaconist.
