Just heard on the news about an attack by multiple rockets on a hotel housing U.S. troops and civilians. The Rasheed Hotel was hit by 6-8 rockets. Paul Wolfowitz wasthere but not injured.
How can we say that this is a secured area when these things are still going on? This should still be an active warzone where we can conduct all the necessary military operations we need to do to secure the city.

That helicopter was shot down too. I wonder if this should still be a war? What do you think?

Obviously the peaceful attempts are more dangerous than waging war. Sometimes the Israeli approach doesn't look so bad.

Then again, we can back all the way out and let them rule themselves. Even better yet, announce to the Iraqi people that since they want us out, we will leave and allow the Iranians to take over. Fuggemall.

Two of my favorite sayings when it comes to diplomacy:
Those who don't remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
Speak softly and carry a big stick.
