I would like to hear opinions from those who have tried this defunct brand (made by Tamboril before they went out of business)...I personally have never had a bad one and detect a very nice "cocoa" flavor throughout, ending with a very pleasant finish...Very enjoyable smoke IMHO..However, these are considered "closeout" cigars and "dogrockets" to many...Opinions from those who have tried one or two would be appreciated...Thanks all....KC

Rook,

I have had a few of these and also have never had a bad one. These are not great cigars but, like you said, there is nothing wrong with them. They are definately worth the price.

I won a box of toros several months ago and wasn't too impressed when I first smoked one, but with a few weeks in the humi they really showed a lot improvement. I found that for an everyday outdoor smoke thy're a real bargain. I hated to smoke the last one.

I'm also in for the Cordovas. Have only tried the Short Diablo (a box of 4 x 44) which serves as short time/in between smokes. Again, good smokes. Not great. Lately I've won a 5-pack of Toros. Also here I have to agree, after a few weeks in the 'dor, it's just as good as the small ones. I haven't seen the Short Diablos for at least 6 months. I hope that they'll be on again.

I just noticed that I have on in the 'gift' box that robnsue sent me. I may of had one before in a previous trade, but I can't remember. I'm looking forward to trying it ... it's getting juiced up in my 'dor!
