Allot of you folks have gotten the emails about something good coming out of Iraq. I know allot of you have heard the the Military did a chain letters and had soldiers sign them and that they all said the same thing... I know allot of you have read some of the posts I've posted with arguments between my Favorite Sister and that... Well here's another one I would like to share because it's straight from the Heart of a MARINE!!!!! and I'm Proud to call him my Nephew!!!!
ENJOY!!!!
Hog

It started from my "Mom" and a chain letter about conditions in Iraq and Military Spirit There.
(The Other Side of The Story)"Even for you doubters this makes a good story. Donna"

My Sisters Reply to this;
"No it doesn't. It just sounds more like political propaganda to me. Give me the names of the alleged people and let me speak with them myself and then I might be inclined to believe it. This is no more or less than those form letters the government sent out a while back putting guys names on them or making them send it.(Where is Jake's input?) He was there. What does he have to say about it? Let’s hear from the people really over there and involved. Not the friend of a cousin's third wife's neighbor who over heard it from a cell phone conversation on a subway.
I do applaud your efforts tho."

My Other Sister ask's her Son to reply; she sent this email Subject:Jake Please read this and respond so the family can know...Hi everybody, I asked Jacob to give his point of view about the war in iraq and this is his comments so it comes straight from the family member who has been there and done that and is willing to do it again if needs be.

Jake's Reply!!!!!!
"If your asking me if i think we should of been there or not my answer is yes I do. I believe in my heart that if we did'nt go there and destroy that tyrant that the war would of eventually been in our back yard. No matter the reason I was sent if you could of seen how the Iraqi people were being treated and abused how they lived in houses made of **** and mud and that **** had a palace in every city in Iraq just to rub it in there face that he was the boss.

I call him a tyrant because he ran that country on fear alone he would forbid his staff from telling him how f*cked up the country of iraq around him is because it was easier for him to stomach or easier to sleep at night. but he had no problems sending his men into villages to bring him woman between the ages of 12 and 21 so he could rape and eventually kill then face up to no-one. or how he could gas a nearby village killing everyone just to see the effects the agent had on human test dummy.

i just returned from iraq in june and i might be going back in a few months to releave my other guys. i did not complain the first time and im not going to complain this time.this is my job, I choose this profession. put america in iraq's shoes what if the table was turned and nobody would help us be free because it is'nt conveiniant for them.
lmao"

'eventually in our backyard'

Please. Pure paranoia.

There are a helluva lot of bad dictators. Your nephew's criteria for invading countries means A LOT of war in his future...or, better yet, let's not use this rationale and bring him home.

Here's the rest of his Unit...I believe RDC has a Nephew or Brother-In-Law in the 1st MEF also???

Marines Win Top Award For Iraq Fight
WASHINGTON - The Navy has awarded its highest unit honor to the Marines who invaded Iraq, pushed north to Baghdad and helped Army troops liberate the capital.
Navy Secretary Gordon England gave the Presidential Unit Citation to the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force on Monday. The award is the highest given by the U.S. military to an entire unit.

Marine units have won 40 of the awards in the corps' 228-year history, the last coming in 1968 during the Vietnam War.

"This is the Oscar of unit awards," said Steven Mackey, head of the Marines' military awards branch. "The Medal of Honor is the most coveted award for individuals. The Presidential Unit Citation is the most coveted award for units."

The unit - called 1 MEF in military jargon - oversaw all of the more than 60,000 Marines involved in the Iraq war. Those Marines now may wear the Presidential Unit Citation ribbons on their dress uniforms.

The citation commends the Marines for their "extraordinary heroism and outstanding performance" during the invasion of Iraq. The Marines made the longest sequence of overland attacks in the corps' history, moving nearly 500 miles from the Kuwait border to areas north of Baghdad.

I'm Damn Proud of my Nephew and his Counterparts!!!!
