it's called a Box Pass it's a glorified mass trade and the name pretty much says it all. One member takes about 40 cigars and puts them in a box. About 15 people sign up to be in the "pass" and then the originator lines up a schedule. He packages the cigars up and sends them to the first person. They look at all the cigars (like a kid on Christmas morn) takes the ones he wants and replaces them with equal or better gars. Then he packages the box up and sends them on to the next person on the schedule and on and on it goes until the last person sends the box back to the originator who receives his box back with lots of new and different cigars! If you follow the threads, you can see how much fun it is (but much work for the originator). I just finished mine and it was very rewarding despite some bumps in the road. If you want to start one, email me at ethanareed at sbcglobal.net and I'll give you more details and tips. Also I think there is a website that goes into a lot of detail but I don't know the address - boxpass.com?
