Just had to tell someone and, though I don't post alot I read the boards alot and this seems like a good place. Have a 18 year old daughter that has consistantly refused to comply with normal house rules. This weekend it reached a head and was up all night dealing with her. She had to leave the house until she could follow acceptable behavior. In the middle of this huge fight she decided to call her Uncle Tim. Now you have to understand, Tim is a great guy and loves her without reservation but he is an old time Panhandle of Texas cowboy who cares for several hundard cattle on a very large, and rugged, ranch. He told her to come on and she could help him with the yearlings that he is recieving now. She was thrilled and I took her down, about 2.5 hours. She will be up, horseback and working at daylight and until dark:30, as they say up here. He can handle her easily, she loves him to death, and she'll learn what real work is. After dropping her off I plugged an Andrea Bocelli cd in, fired up a Monte #4 I've been saving, and chuckled all the way home. I bet she's tired and sore tonight! One of my best 'gars ever but probably somewhat situational.
