Am I the only man in America that smokes cigars daily in the house? My wife does not smoke and never has. We do not rent. She gets me great cigars(2 VSGs for V-day), what a woman! We have a beautiful home and she reminds me of Heather Locklear. I am blessed. Am I alone?

I smoke in the house over the winter. Chicago is too cold to stand outside and smoke. In the summer I voluntarily sit out on the deck and smoke. It's pretty peaceful. Just me, my cigar and 50 million hungry mosquitos. LOL

I don't think I would want to smoke in the house. As much as I appreciate and enjoy the aroma of my cigars, I don't think I'd want the entire house to be permeated. I smoke in my office about once a week using an air purifier, and notice that if I smoke there more, the smell never goes away. Again, it's not that that's a bad smell, but I personally prefer no smell. I'm happy with patio, it never gets cold here anyway.

I smoke in the house, when I think I can get away with the "crime"; however,I am "allowed" to smoke in the great outdoors at any time I want to enjoy a cigar! In Southern California we dont have the weather problems that you guys in the Midwest and East have to deal with, but we cannot go to a Sports Bar or Steakhouse and smoke thanks to the tree huggers and folks who are "allergic" to smoke! I have made a few attempts to turn a spare bedroom into a walk in humidor and smoke room, but have been soundly defeated on that proposal. Maybe if I hit Lotto, then I can set up a smoking room somewhere in the house and then maybe donkeys will fly someday!

I fully intend to smoke my ass off in my office when I get the fan installed. The air purifiers and masking agents don't work worth a damn IMHO. I am going to install a freakin fan that will suck the papers off my desk and fire em up. OHH RAHH!

Any chance your wife might have a twin sister looking for a suave and debonair cigar aficionado like myself:-)

Your not alone brother. I have a nice basement I get to smoke in. The wife also lets me burn one with a cup of coffee upstairs after the awesome lunches she prepares. And Heather would pay homage to my fine looking wife of 16 years.

...another lucky **** here. My future missus sometimes even smokes WITH me, although it's only once in a while. She actually likes the smell of cigar smoke! Go figure. Now you know why I always have a smile at the end of my posts :)

rookie: you can get a decent ionizer at sharper image for about $20.00. it will neutralize the cigar odor (unfortunately) and the car won't smell from cigars. at least that is what i have convinced myself my dog is a different story. he smell good, like a good cogar should.

my wife toby would not even think of cigar smoking in the house as a problem. it's what i do. if i thought it would bother her i would not infringe on her space. as i said previously, i don't smoke in the office because it bothers my son. perhaps you whipped husbands need to establish some rules for your wives, i smoke cigars, therefore i am.

"smoking in the house"...."Heather Locklear!!"...WAKE UP MAN...YOU'RE DREAMING! LOL...Basement or outside for me, and my wife is lovely also, she just hates smoke. I don't mind keeping the smoke away from her and my kid, the basement is fine and I love the outdoors.

LOL Richard, you sound like a saying here... King, Castle, Maid... I for one Smoke in my house.. in every room I want to smoke in..I do not have to deal with the women problems as those of you that are married.. and wife's do not smoke.. and when I date a lady that is one of my test's.. can she deal with cigar smoke..
but my Number one rule in dating.. (this comes after a failed marrage of 17 yrs) is No B!tchen.. absolulty non whatsoever.. call me spoiled or what ever... but I lived like a hermit while married and felt like a slave to her whimms and whines..I have dated alot of fine lady's who in time could not keep there yappers shut.. (didn't know the words Compromise and compatability... those are the one's who phone me to talk to the answering machine...now back to the house Smoke I enjoy a Cigar at my Kitchen Table on weekends I am off work and can enjoy coffee and a fine Cigar..
I also like to grab a movie and relax in the recliner or on the couch with a fine Cigar.. and sometimes working out in the Garage on a Wood Project of some sort I like to puff on a Cigar and reminess on how nice it is to not have Honey Do's any longer... and what the evening would bring me as far as a fine looking Lady friend... Laterzzzzzzzzz Hog

My wife and I shared a Bahia Gold Maduro Churchill last night, while relaxing in our duel recliners watching a new DVD. (the cigar was good, the movie sucked)

I too am a lucky man. I have animals I don't smoke around (parrots) but my wife bought me my 1st 'dor and filled it with multiple brands. Like yours she doesn't smoke but dosen't mind my endulgence and gives me honest critiuqes of the various aromas.
