I'd say quite a few.
I'm not a Texan, just a neighbor, over here in Arkansas.

For Sure,
Just got home from the VA hospital in Fayetteville AR.
A friend had surgury so I was his ride to and from. I am unemployed, so I do temp work, until something more permanent comes along. I got laid of a couple of weeks ago. Don't have work, from the temp agency tomorrow, so I stayed up, a little later than usual.

Hey AlThor,
Thats, why I left. I scared the **** out of one of them Cowboys, when he thought he was going to cut my hair. He didn't expect the "Hippie" To be packing heat. LOL We, in Arkansas, Know all about side arms. Mr. Blackhawk, helped him understand.

What!! They are?? Can I bring my guns down and play? My last experience in Texas left me in the middle of a dry area. No one should ever have to drive 40 miles to get a beer.

That was Sam Rayburn - my favorite lake to fish, got me a 6 lb 14 oz large mouth minnow. 2 ozs shy of a wall mount. The old man caught a 10 lb 6 oz the same trip.

and again welcome aboard

Yeah...definately a whole 'nother country...

But call it a state so the other states think they are equal...

Hey Tonester....man it was cold here today...had to turn on the heater in the truck this morning....only expecting a high of 55 today...brrrrrr...

You guys crack me up. I left home today to a balmy 25. No jacket no hat no heater. Last week two days started at 13 degrees. I still crack open the window and enjoy a smoke. No heater today but I did use it on the cold mornings. When it was 13 I did throw on a quilted flannel.

Houston, Texas here, actually Cypress (pronounced with a whistling "C" and "s").

There's a few of us here and some of us in the Houston area will be getting together to celebrate the holidays and a few birthdays in the next week or so. Let us know if you're in the area and we'll get you set up right.

Welcome,

Barry
