John caused a fervor on these boards almost immidiately. He was promptly "attacked" and fought back on many occassions.
He made several "board enemies". Not so much from his viewpoints, but rather from his style.

But he was (I thought) honest.

You have now claimed his board identity, in some sort of internet "game", and continued his leftist attacks on common sense.
But you are a liar.
You've pretended to be someone you're not.

Or perhaps you're lying now.

Either way, what little respect you MAY have had on these boards is diminished.

You try to look down your nose at many on these boards. Many of us folks who don't have the education level of "professor".
But the folks here are REAL.
Like them or not, they are who they claim to be.

So you are no longer of interest to me.
Such a childish game, pretending to be someone else.

There are several traits I hate. Dishonesty is at the top of the list.

have i missed something? what is this identity theft? about a year ago someone reg as R1CKAMAVEN, using a 1 instead of an I. i have no idea who he is or was, but he posted things that obviously would not have come from my brain.

i beloeve c-bid banned him, i can't remember.

what is the story about jdrabinski, and a dual identy?

Rick.. Long Story Short.. Johnboy questioned Sonny on his Lifes works... after Sonny came forward with his efforts.. Johnboy fell short by about 50 yrs' IMO... so he professed as a Prefessor would do that he was not the Professor everyone was thinking he was he had stole this Identity and was using it the past 6 months... now for me to believe.. and others also.. I want a piece of that Golden Gate Bridge you got in your back yard... I'll be out to pick it up in early 2020.. save it for me...

I gotta say, I have read lots of J's posts. He can occasionally be condescending. But I've never seen him resort to malicious namecalling. Time to contact him and see what's up.

Look up the post in the picture section from Hog titled "USMC and ACLU".

It's a long thread, but jdrabinski claims he is not the original holder to that handle.
The new author has eluded to such deception in previous posts, but he finally came out and admitted that he was hiding behind the name jdrabinski.

Certainly the two posters views are similar in content, but this person purposely abused the anonimity of the bulletin board to bait posters and create unnecessary dissent.

Much has been written lately regarding the tone of certain threads. And some have left the boards altogether.
I never blamed "John" entirely for these out of hand discussions. Lord knows he has received his fair share of abuse. But now I see that it was indeed a purposeful attempt to bait certain outspoken board members into a game of sorts.

I don't participate in any other bulletin board or discussion forum on the internet. I enjoy the friendships, discussions and debates on these boards. And even when things got heated up, I felt it was through mature and honest dissagreements.
Perhaps I was naive, but that doesn't make it my fault.

Malicious? Perhaps not.
But so incredibly childish that I haven't the time to even attempt to sort things out.

I instead will choose to ignore any further posts from him. And with any luck, many will follow suit.

Perfesser did pull an end run on several occassions and claimed to not be who he claimed to be earlier! Huh? Got me on that one as well!

I did notice a change, in JDRabs posts. Yes the slant has not changed, but the tone has changed dramatically. It would not suprise me if it was an undergrad, working in his office, or something of the like. I used to enjoy his posts, though radically different than my own beliefs, they were usually well thought out, and not really inciting anger. I belong to another BB where someone by the same nick posts, and do not see him posting the type of crap I see posted here, though I believe their politics to be along the same vein. I would hope that it is an imposter here, as there he is a respected member of the board.

jdrabinski (whoever he/she/it is) reminds me of a co-worker I once knew. He would hold forth on a wide variety of subjects, purporting to be an expert on whatever the topic of conversation was. Inevariably, his opinions were derogatory of our country, and supprtive of whoever hated us. He cloked his venom in a psuedo-intellectualism that sneered at any opinions at variance with his to be misinformed drivel. This individual was the least productive person on the entire crew of the warship I was serving on at the time. People I've met who have these attitudes live only to tear down, humiliate, and destroy all that the rest of us support defend and hlod dear. I have no words to waste arguing with such persons. But will explain my views to those here I feel respect for. Merry Christmas to all of the BOTL, and SOTL, and all your families!
