In 2004, I'm resolved to NOT respond to any posts that have to do with cellophane or extremist politics

I'm resolved to no longer search for a non-existant holy grail great cigar at a cheap price, but to focus on making the best possible buys on the almost 4 dozen cigars I already know and love ...

I'm resolved to visit New England this year to visit my oldest son and meet some of my good friends from this board and spend a day in their company ...

I'm resolved to be instrumental in organizing the first annual NoCal/SoCal Herf ...

And I'm resolved to spend more than one week on vacation at our Rocky Mountain cabin ...

I resolve to send SteveS a cigar or two in 2004, as soon as he posts the list of the 4 dozen or so that he already knows he likes. el oh el

I second that eleltea, I offered a MX2 to ol' Steve, cause he has never tried one, and he didn't e-mail me. So, to not threadjack, my first small New Year's resolution is.....SteveS, e-mail me and leave your snailer: dgrubworm44(at)aol(dot)com and I will hook a BOTL up right.

In 2004, I resolve to finally learn how to make and apply a good frying batter! This may not sound like a major goal, but at least it's an achievable one! :)

Homie, I'm interested in a tempura style batter. I had some shark years ago fried in this type of batter, and it blew away any other type of fish I ever ate. I also would like to do homemade onion rings, so a good beer batter would be in order :)

My New Years resolution, as LOD, is to ...

... slap the --@#*%-- out of anyone who:

-- Posts 'off topic' in the wrong forum ---
-- Uses unecessary profanity ---
-- Posts competing websites ---
-- Posts that are disparaging of any individual, race or religion, a company, or a website --
-- Posts of objectionable material --
-- Asks what THEY should smoke --

... or anyone who asks ANY question (newbie or not)that has already been answered countless times here before, without first doing a 'Search the Boards' to see if it has been answered countless time before ...

Oh ... wait a minute ... I do that already ... ;^)

Hummmm ... back to the drawing board ... ;^)

I resolve to finish my remodel thus giving me the free time to finally make one of SteveS's herf invites.

The flu set me back a little, Steve, but I'm getting close. Thanks for your patience.

Dave ... Unbelieveably, I just saw this for the first time ... e-mail sent, albeit quite belatedly.

Tony ... I just got back from two weeks there ... if only I'd seen this sooner, I'd have sent an invite ... I'd have enjoyed your company. We'll have to make it another time.
