If any of you have won a Techno lighter let me know what you think. I won mine last week on CI for $6.00. It has a nice clean burn and for the money you can't go wrong. It also has a see through reservoir so you can see how much butane is left. I highly recommend, especially if you can get one cheap....Scott

I won mine a few months ago. It's a great lighter, lights first time, every time. And it's not picky about which brand of butane I use. Some 'jet flame' lighers are real particular, and only Vector or Volcano fuel will work in them, both I believe are triple distilled. I use good ol' Ronson Multi-fuel in mine ... and it works fine. The only drawback, is that it gets marred easily. Mine looks like it's a few years old already, residing in my pocket with my keys, stainless cutter, pocketknife ... and has all kinds of chips and scratches on it. But it works!

I am happy for both of you. I won two once. They worked great until the first re-fill. after that.... well. I have won 3 of the thunder bolts and love them. I have re-filled at least 5 time and still not one problem.

Crbhoss, your problem with your Technos could be a matter of ajusting the made-for-it screw at the bottom of the thing.

... also, use the higher grade fuel. When filling, hold the igniter down, and bleed it while you are filling. I have a Thunder Bolt also, and it hasn't lit once since it came out of the package. I don't have a clue as to why it won't work ...

I have one and use it regularly. It is a good, cheap lighter.
