Well they say "you can't keep a good man down" so here I am again open to abuse from some parties...but not them all!
Anyway, I wondered if anyone could help me.
A colleague of mine has just returned from her holidays in the Canary Islands...I helped her with some business recently, and has a thankyou, she bought me some cigars back. Now I have not seen or heard of this brand before, the are called Backgammon.
They came in boxes of ten ali tubes. they state on the label that they are made with 100% cuban long filler, I know they are not made in Cuba as they have no seals or the habanos or totalemente marks. I have my suspisions has to whether or not they are hand rolled, I don't think so?
they have no indication of their country of origin.Although the box seems to very well constructed.
I havn't opened them to inspect the cigars yet, as I prefer not to tamper with cigars until I am ready to put them into a smaller humidor before leaving them to "rest and settle" for a while.
I wondered if anyone has come accross them before?
She brought me two boxes back, which was very kind.
Any thoughts?

Andy, I would crack one open and perform an autopsy on it. At least you'd know if it was short or long filler and narrow down whether it is a hand-rolled or machine made cigar. There are a bunch of machine made Cubans around.....Brent
