The Packers by 10....oh wait,...Sherman DIDN'T go for it on 4th and 2 feet, I forgot. Who in the HE-- doesn't go for it on 4th and 2 feet to ice the game??? Ahman was averaging over 6 yards a carry!!! Yeah, I'm still bitter.

Rick,
Too bad you'll choose to watch one of the worst actors in Costner rather than watch one of the best coached teams in NFL history.

Rarely has so much come from so little.
Two pro-bowlers.
This "no-name" defense led the league in points allowed. They posted three shut-outs. They stymied the best QB's in the league.
They have won 14 straight games.
They have not trailed in a game since October.
And they are staging the building blocks for a new football dyanasty.
Please don't compare Tom Brady with Joe Montana.
Yet...

what team are you refering to?

i am a ram and green bay fan and i am collecting feathers for the two coaches that should be tarred and feathered and run out of town on a rail.

the idea of "Rockets will make the playoffs" doesn't mean a thing to me. i wait for the triumphant return of the laker starters and the big sweep to the 4th ring.

i'm sure you are correct about whatever team you are refering to, but

Maybe the underdog is the trend for this year.

I'm not predicting the game, but I would take the seven points and Carolina in a heartbeat.

Go Panthers!

I would like to see the Panthers win, but I don't think they will.

Pats - 35
Panthers - 28

I just love seeing a QB that my team, the Saints thought wasn't good enough to be a Saint, in the SUPERBOWL! How's that humble pie taste, HASLETT you moron!

Rick,
I know you're a Rams fan. I knew that when my Patriots beat them two years ago.
You should have tarred and feathered Martz when he lost that game.
But you'll still have to deal with him while all the other teams pass them by.
It's too bad, since their talent should have produced at least one additional superbowl victory.
They will barely be contenders next season unless Bulger is benched and Warner allowed to lead the troops.

Either way, watch the spectacle that IS the Superbowl. I think you'll like what you see. Two very well coached teams with few top tier superstars.

Smash Mouth Football at it's best.

ducati, I'm with you brother. still bitter about the loss to Philly. I was pulling for the Panthers to upset Philly so I don't have to hear about the 4th and 26 play for the next to weeks. The eagles fans at work will probably be a lot quieter this week.

As far as the super bowl, I gotta go with the cats.

Brady & Bill give the Pats the edge.

Pats win it with a late 4th qtr drive.

I hope the Panthers win for my GF sake (she's from NC).
As long as it is a good, entertaining game, all will be fine with me. A nice long game so I can enjoy a couple of smoke during it too.

Unfortunately I do think the Pat's are a better team, but then look at what a great team the Colt's were last week, and Philly . . . Go Cat's!!!

Thank god for the NFL and anything can happen on any weekend!!!

I think the Pats will win but will not cover the spread. The Cats have won to many close ones. I am pulling for the Cats though.

Knof,
Not to split hairs, but you your comment:
"I do think the Pat's are a better team, but then look at what a great team the Colt's were last week"
Seems to imply that the Colts were a "better" team than the Patriots.
If so, what was it based on???

The Patriots had a better overall record.
They Played more "good" teams (over .500 winning percentage) and were undefeated against such teams.
They played the Colts once in the regular season and Beat them. At Indianapolis.

Certainly, the Colts were very exciting to watch due to their high powered offense. But that does not make them superior, and certainly didn't do much for them Sunday afternoon.

I may be biased, since I'm a Patriots seasons ticket holder for 11 years now, but there is not any statistic that would even remotely suggest that the spread should have been as low as the paltry 3 points that it was.

OK tailgater I see your point, but over the past few games the colts were on a roll and actually I thought at the moment the colts were playing better. Just look at the Panthers, they are playing their best ball when it counts . . . now. I bet the autmosphere was great last week for you in the cold, hope your drink didn't freeze. Sorry, I'm in California when a cold day is 40 degrees, heheheeeee. Yup the sun is out today and its gonna be in the mid 60's! Bring out the suntan lotion, LOL!.

Good luck at the super bowl, so since you've been a season ticket holder, are you going to the game???

Liz,
many women I've known have been honest about thier age.

But they rarely reveal their true weight and often exaggerate the bra size.

Of course we men exaggerate often as well especially when it comes to height and the size of our cigar.

(Hey honey ever check out my presidente!!!)

I'm a BBW (big beautiful woman) and I'm a 38 C (Clive says they are perfect LOL) - don't need to lie about anything :-) though it is funny how in online chats both boobs and the male appendage seems to be bigger than they really are - almost like the little notice you get on the car mirrors - objects in the mirror may appear closer than they are LOL accept in this case they may appear smaller than they are :-P

Rumor here is the commissioner called the Packers at half time to replace Carolina for the second half.
