i don't know how we got off to a bad start, but every so often i see intellect in your posts and i wonder which is the prime you, the far right republican or the very bright thinker.

the two, by their very nature, are incompatible.

I agree with Rick I perceive a conflict and I don't believe the simplification implied by the poster who said all liberals have high IQ's. If you were posting Liberal dogma the same truth would hold.

I have my reservations about 65gto's authorship of the original post. When have you ever read something he wrote that wasn't laden with horrible spelling and grammar? Not that this board is an English lesson, but the above post looks pretty good in these areas. I wonder if it is a cut and paste...

But here I am...attacking 65gto and not the issue. I must be a liberal.

There may be a reason why most of the worlds religions and philosophies consider drug use an impediment to genuine spiritual experience. I won't argue about it either way, but I'm past the point in my own life where psychoactives are beneficial to my spiritual life.

an ice-cold coke and a cigar are all the psychoactivity i need to get by.

while far too chickens*** to every drop acid, i do wish that we would develop the technology whereby one could experience a good trip w/o hinking around with the body's chemicals.

to hell with the x-box. where's the LSD-box? :)
