any nascar diecast collectors here ?

I collect 1/64 since size is a factor when living in an apartment.
Earnhardt's , Martin , Elliott and others. along with track exclusive releases ( track cars for that particular event ) i've been collecting for about 10 or 11 years now ......cars come and cars go !

I don't own any cars... but was in the works for building a display box to show the cars Mirrored back and bottom on a slant so when viewing the car inside the case a person could see all sides and underbelly...

this plan was for the larger scale models also though...

Got about thirty myself get most of them from the cereal boxes, I also collect the Nascar tins to store them in, and I have to stave off my son and his friends from playing with them.

cereal box cars........good food premiums ! promotional cars from cereal boxes are great ! and fighting the kids of is why ! most of them get played with and tore up (which is what they are made for i know ) i as well beat the kids to sports type premiums especially nascar cars.
kelloggs , frosted mini wheats, cherrios ? any particular ones ?

I've got some 1/64th cars and keep them in their plastic display case and have them around my other NASCAR toys. 17 more days till DAYTONA!!!

With all the die cast out there, there is not enough room to continue, heheheheee. I've begun to enlarge NASCAR pictures that I take, then get the drivers to autograph them for my own use. I get more satisfaction out of the pictures that way.

I've been collecting here and there for a few years now. Some I've built myself as well from plastic, and metal kits. Some of my oldest are a Bobby Hamilton Olds, and a Petty Superbird.

Growing up watching NE modifieds, I now collect diecast of any former mod drivers. I'm up to about 35 1/24 scale cars. I've got Action, TC, older RC, just about whatever is available of the Mod drivers.
