Did you know.......
As you walk up the steps to the Capitol Building which houses the Supreme Court you can see near the top of the building a row of the world's law givers and each one is facing one in the middle who is facing forward with a full frontal view----it is Moses and the Ten Commandments!

As you enter the Supreme Court courtroom, the two huge oak doors have the Ten Commandments engraved on each lower portion of each door. As you sit inside the courtroom, you can see the wall right above where the Supreme Court judges sit a display of the Ten Commandments!

There are Bible verses etched in stone all over the Federal Buildings and Monuments in Washington, D.C.

James Madison, the fourth president, known as "The Father of Our Constitution" made the following statement "We have staked the whole of all our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God."

Patrick Henry, that patriot and Founding Father of our country said, "It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded not by religionists but by Christians...not on religions but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ".

Every session of Congress begins with a prayer by a paid preacher...whose salary has been paid by the taxpayer since 1777.

Fifty-two of the 55 founders of the Constitution were members of the established orthodox churches in the colonies.

Thomas Jefferson worried about that the Courts would overstep their authority and instead of interpreting the law would begin making law...an oligarchy...the rule of few over many... The very first Supreme Court Justice, John Jay, said, "Americans should select and prefer Christians as their rulers."

How then, have we gotten to the point that everything we have done for 200 years in this country is now suddenly wrong and unconstitutional?

back in our founding father's time they didn't have to worry about someone suing them for every little thing like we do today. *sighs* our country has become a country that is willing to give up principles so they won't "upset" someone over this or over that. can't even enjoy the holidays anymore :-(

Total Quality Management. In business if something stays the same it will at sometime become obsolite.

It's called religious tolerance. Respect to all faiths but preference to none by the government. It's great that there are reminders of what our laws are based on, but at the same time, the laws prevent us from alienating and persecuting those with different beliefs. The very reason the founders and their ancestors left their home countries, for religious freedom.

HAH!!!! for years the UN and the rest of the world have turned their noses up to the fact... only the United States has been the one to try and correct something only when it has come to many's attention... Somolia!!! look at the thanks we got.. IE Blackhawk Down.. and other scirmishes....

Fix it, don't condone it and want to get rid of it!!!!!

Rick,

TQM = Total Quality Management

ORM = Operational Risk Management

during the TQM years of the filter down Clinton Org. TQm was a top priority in the business world.. leading to such losses later in life that cost the Taxpayers Billions IE; ENRON and the likes of business marketeirs... thus also guidelines were established for and were in progress and fell into place after the 2000 elections for ORM... Operational or Organizational Risk Management or Assesments...

better quality of life for all... less on the taxes and pocketbook with shared interests across the board... and besides it's mainly a military thing...

Russ, I don't think you know much about TQM. Poor business practices lead to loses.
