Here I sit smoking a CAO gold corona with a great beer (Roslyn Brook Side), I've got my dog at my feet, my girlfriend (whom I love) right over there reading a book, a warm house, a computer that has allowed me to meet the great folks at cigarbid and for me to type this message and I'm reminded of one of my favorite quotes.

Anne Frank wrote it while she was lying in bed for months while Nazis were below in the house;

"In spite of everything, life is good."

amen and amen. it's all about moments like that, buddy.

not nearly as prolific as anne frank (may she rest in peace), but one of my favorite quotes was said by sylvester stallone: "there are no perfect people, only perfect moments."

and it's great when you can find it within your own four walls. :) many more times like that you. that really brought a smile to my often world-weary mug. :)

Amen brothers! Celebrated the 15th anniversary of our first date tonight, BBQ'd steak, sauteed 'shrooms, veggies, baked taters, cabernet sauvignon, Bass ale Gurkha something-or-other, Lakers won, and desert is yet to come!
