Wow, I posted after the first message.....hmmm, go figure. To answer your question I am embarrassed to say I have 6 humidors and 1 coolerdor although one of the humidor's I won recently at a cigar related event. Some day I will consolidate the six into 2 or three really big (150-300 cigar jobbers) ones...good question actually!..happy herfin'...Brent

2 for montecristos, 1 for cohibas, 1 for r&js, 1 for mi cubanos, 1 for a bunch of misc only for driving or working in the yard cigars, a small cooler chest, a large cooler chest, and 6 cigar jars with misc cigars of merit in their own jars on the floor next to my lazy-boy so i don't have to move to make a selection. all calibrated as per slimboli's excellent post, and all with home made humidors as per my excellent post, which no one gave a s**t about.

You put unopened boxes in the "vege" bin? Whats that? I have 1 300 ct. humidor and a tupperwareodor. Plan on building another after my B-day, hoping to get a table saw(grin). Probably will be another 300 ct. or a converted old dresser, depending on my budget/time.

I have three. A large cabient that will accommodate 1500 cigars, a large chest humidor that will hold 60-75(rated at 120), and a small chest humidor(20 cigars) at work.

One 150 count that holds Padrons and Padron Ann. Second one holds all my daily smokes. Third (smaller) holds the expensive collectables that I'm afaid to smoke because then I'll have to buy another. And finally a fourth cheapy for Dog Rockets I plan to give away.

Thanks CL I was hopeing I wasn't the only one. I can't pass up a good deal. The ups man is now on a first name basis with everyone in my household. Now I'm bidding on dors. So I can fill them up and buy more dors. It's a vicious cycle.

I live in Salt Lake City (dry as hell) so keeping a good humidor seal is difficult and imperative. I have a coolerdor for aging boxes of cigars (currently about 10). That works great and maintains good humidity with a salt water solution, but I have gone through 3 humidors trying to find one that will hold humidity for my regular smokes. I have settled on an El Rey with an extra credo in the bottom. I add 50/50 each week. In spite of this, I have to gently wipe the cedar with distilled water each 2-4 weeks or else the humidity rapidly drops to 60 or below. Pain in the ass, but in spite of reading everything you guys write here, I havent found a better solution.
And I KNOW some of you think that "conditioning" humidors by wiping with distilled water swells the wood, but those cedar inserts are designed to swell slightly and its not like I'm soaking it with water, just wiping. Before cigarbid I had a single small humidor, and now I have to avoid even looking at the boxes for sale for fear I will buy too many.

asa1,you should'nt need to use 50/50 in each filling of your credo, probably once a year at best after that just distilled water.See http://www.cigargroup.com/faq/
Scroll down till you see,Humidification: Using Propylene Glycol to regulate humidity.Lots of other info there also.

Now that I am bringing back an old post I feel ashamed to only having one 50 count sbut it is full to the brim and 1 oliva I got in a trade with nothing in it and 2 travel with nothin in it. But I am a college student that smoke about one a day right now. Plus that I don;t have a job right now I need to slow down.
