What the f..k! I just heard on the radio news that "certain" beaches are trying to ban smoking! I am all for respecting the rights of non-smokers but it's really getting out of hand. When have you even seen a smokey beach, besides normandy?! It's ok to look at those fat asses in speedos eating and leaving their garbage, but enjoy a smoke...no. For Christs sake! Sorry....I had to vent.

Calling New Jersey the Garden State is like calling Massachusetts the Repulican Domain...

Actually NJ is 40% forested land and 18% farm land. It is 2nd in cultivated blueberries, 3rd in cranberries, 4th in peaches, 4th in fresh market asparagus, 4th in fresh peppers, 5th in fresh spinach, 6ht isn fresh lettuce and 6th in cucumbers. Not to mention a great hockey team....but I am still pissed about the beaches!

They said it was because of the litter caused from cigarette butts. Guess we could argue about cigars considering they have no butts and the remains are good fertilizer. Don't think it will fly.

The way I see it, cigar butts are natrual leaves and may be thrown at will if you remove the band.

As for as "Smoking Beaches", when I saw the thread title my thought was which ones aren't? I mean damn, it is outside. So lets also band everything from the beach that has had something left behind such as soft drinks (cans), candy bars (wrappers), sun tan lotion (empty bottles), and most of all fat women (cellulite).

Well...they passed it! One beach has instated it. They will have "smoking sections" that are 100 ft. wide and have butt containers....f__king nuts!
