So many good ones

Being a definite horse racing fan... Sea Biscuit is really the best I've seen in several years. And I'm really looking forward this year to the Miracle (about the 1980 US hockey team)

All time....???? Hmmmmm these 3 have at the top for me

Sea Biscuit
Field of Dreams
and perhaps Brian's Song

I have many other favs But these three are a notch above the rest IMHO.

Bassdude...
Strange Brew = Mostly Beer drinking and very little hockey. Actually... not just regular beer drinking, but professional doubles beer drinking.

Well, Bass maybe you should consider establishing the PDBDA, Professional Doubles Beer Drinking Association, and have the competitions and leagues set up then I'll accept Strange Brew as a Sports movie. And I'm sure it wll make Bob and Doug proud!!!

db - I have to disagree. Competetive beer drinking is just as nmuch a sport as golf, bowling and pool.

And if you ever watched a 4 man 1/4 barrel chug you'd know it is also entertaining.

I know what you are talking about... I was in a 10 man, 1/2 barrell chug (with six other teams). I was able to watch the beginning, but things got pretty fuzzy as the competition went on.

Maybe we ought to start a new thread about drinking games.... (truly a sport in my college days)

Two of my favorites

Beer pong (Ping pong with plastic beer cups on the table in which you try to hit your opponents cup or knock it over)

Taps (How long can you apply your lips to an open beer tap)

All right,. I give up... Strange Brew is a GREAT SPORTS MOVIE!!!!

(after a 6 pack of Molson!!)

No order of preference, because that would take longer than deciding which cigar to smoke from the humi.

Slapshot (The Hanson brothers, nothing else to say)
Field of Dreams (WOW)
Days of Thunder (Cole Trickle!!!)
Bull Durham (Yo Meat)
Caddie Shack (Rodney,Chevy,Murry, I agree)
2 Minute Warning (Hmmm, an oldie but goodie)
Animal House (yes they had golf in it, so it registers)

Speaking of Horseracing, I think Seabisbiscuit is the best Sports Movie I have ever seen, but will mention a movie that is about horse racing and gambling and funny as hell.........all should watch it if you haven't seen this one:

"Let it Ride" (Funny as hell and really a good little movie that flopped at box office)
