As Usual,
Just wondering, if there will be any debates this election, that don't have predetermined questions, or will they be scripted too.

I want to like and respect our President, I really do. That interview made it even more difficult.

i have watched the little w interview that i taped earlier.

everyone knows i don't like him.

i felt sorry for the man. his handlers should be ashamed of them selves for what they allowed this man to be put through and what will follow quickly.

no one should be subject, even little w, to the ridicule and scorn that certainly must follow his imbecilic responses.

I missed it AGAIN! What were his responses? Did he look bad? He's not the best speaker off the cuff...

It was pretty flat. All old news. He put forth the party line again. I don't think it will gain him points in the polls. He did not not appear very sharp. But was mostly sincere. He got pretty weak talking about his Guard record. Said he would open it IF it could be found. Apparently it's been missing for some time. He was genuinely perplexed! I wonder if his Dad is? He did say he satisfied all attendance requirements. I think he believes that.

Doesn't he have the same Honorable Discharge Kerry and Clark have? Must've done something right to get that! They don't hand those out for nothing!

I don't think digging into his service record will be productive. It's easier to address the issues at hand.

You disgrace the branch you served in if for one second you think someone that was AWOL would ever get an Honorable Discharge.

Once again, lacking substance of a real candidacy the Democrats try to raise the Titanic. This didn't work for Gore and it won't work for any of the current Keystone Cops either!

Funny how you and others rant on GW, but are willing to give Clinton a pass. It's not like GW was in the former USSR staging anti-war rallies or anything!

ain't it confusing to have to think of two different things at the same time?

DMV, I think the point here is that powerful Fathers can sometimes make embarrassing records disappear. But I do not KNOW that happened. In this case it seems convenient that they are gone. GW believes he satisfied his requirements. I'll believe it too until definitive evidence to the contrary emerges. Right now, it's just innuendo.

I know this is off topic, but why does it matter if the leader has a lot of military experience, no military experience or fake military experience? What is the advantage?

Spence, I think the big reason is that you're "commander in chief". You are the top dog and can go to war. It is an awesome responsibility and one that should not be taken lightly...

As for disapearing records? 3 words, "Rose Law Firm..."
She was afterall a co-president?

Robby, so in GW's case it would be allright then? Hey! The Clintons sunk to new lows. I agree. But that has nothing to do with this.

"The race for the White House should be about leadership, and leadership requires that one help heal the wounds of Vietnam, not reopen them; that one help identify the positive things that we learned about ourselves and about our nation, not play to the divisions and differences of that crucible of our generation."
