This is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. According to this, poor poor Saddam was just a victim!? I'm sure America even green lighted him for toture and slayings within his own country. I can't believe it... the evil empire of America is responsible for every bad thing to ever happen in this world. I'm sure we're even responsible for WWII.

This is crap... pure and simple. This really pisses me off.

A prime left wing propaganda example, just as bad as some of the right wing stuff...... I can see why Syalance is pissed. just as I get pissed when some of the right wing propaganda gets thrown around here.

My point is sharing links to sites, or cutting and pasting sources of propaganda whete its coming from the left or the right pisses about half of us off, all of the time!!! That's my key point.

Can we consider refraining from this on both sides?

What fun is that? Then all we're left with is even-handed logical discussion or something that pretends to be. I like the fireworks myself. I'll do my own filtering, thank you. So called "flame wars" between literates can be very entertaining. I, for one, miss jdrabinski.

Relationships are valuable and Lifes to short to waste time on misinformation and half-truths. If you think pissing people off with propaganda and perpetuating flame wars is entertaining then IMHO I have doubts about your sense of values and priorites.

We've had threads containing very interesting debates from all sides of the political spectrum that have been respectful, very lively and entertaining without resorting to flame wars and propaganda, thank you. I guess we disagree on one major point. You think flame wars and propaganda adds to the entertainment value and I think just the opposite plus I think it creates animousity and anger among our community... Example Sylance's post.

To say that Sadam was a victim of the great white Satan is to BE a Sadam supporter and therefore to piss on the graves of the brave men and women who died to free that country and help protect us from people who would have us put asunder... The tripe and half truths listed in this presentation are clear proof that the anti-bush folks are leaders in the “Blame America First” movement.

This is the most despicable, deplorable, reprehensible, inexcusable, loathsome, load of CRAP I have EVER SEEN, and shows the depths to which our less conservative BOTL will stoop to see their agenda moved forward...

And this from a man who won't even admit he voted for Nader, bizzare. Pedal this truculent trash somewhere else where you and your Sadam apologist buddies can all bemoan the comeback of the USA. There’s a country song that says if you don’t like it, we’ll put a boot in your ass, that’s the American way.

Oh and here’s an idea, try typing your thoughts in to sentences, then in to paragraphs, and organizing them in to cohesive arguments as opposed to posting a link to some communist green party organization?

All there is is misinformation and half-truths. I said nothing about pissing people off and your having doubts about my values and priorities will surely trouble me to the end of my days.
I'm speaking of lively, witty discussion between adults with vigorous, opposing viewpoints that should be able to give and take a punch. But alas, I see your jaw is made of glass.
