You're one of those people who think not cleaning a coffee maker enhances the flavor, aren't you?

the only thing i hate at the moment is the sling holding my shoulder motionless while the surgery heals.

i drink nothing but decaf, but reg is available from many countries, you only need to ask.

not sure what you mean.

the benoti used a fresh pod each time as does the black and decker.

the white one uses a fresh filter each time.

i use filtered water from a reverse osmosis system

outsides were just cleaned by cleaning crew.

the glass pot is washed just before making coffee, when it has cooled off.

letters that used to say gevalia have been all but washed away.

so, what were you referring to.

if you start wearing your glasses, you would see black & decker above the blue cup, which we call the top.

actually it is still in use, so it was worth the $1.95 i paid for it at a local garage sale.

i use 4 decaf pods and push third button down. adding sweatner, and a heapin spoon of my magic elixir consisting of a med size bottle of instant decaf, a can of mocha mix, and a large bottle of smart and final's brand of creamorea, mixed thoroughly in a large plastic jar,and topping it with whipped cream.

add a perdomo, series P, champagne and you have the great american breakfast,

wheaties is for wooses.

^^^That's what I hate about white coffeemakers - the only way to get the coffeestains off are with a green scrubbie and a bleach cleanser. Then the plastic gets scratches and stains twice as fast the next time......stainless or black is the way to go.

that white one has a red squirrel on its head...

if you pay more than 20 dollars for a coffe maker, yer just foolin' yerself. lately i have been using a press.

^Agreed on both points! I've got a single serve press that makes the best java in the house.

I've also got a cheapie Black & Decker spacesaver that I've had for 16 3/4 years. It survived 6 moves, and in all this time has suffered only a broken carafe, an on/off switch replacement and hard water buildup. I wouldn't trade it for a dozen high-dollar coffee makers.
(Although I have been tempted by one I saw with a timer, burr grinder, water filter and thermal carafe, all in one machine.....price tag ended the temptation, though! LOL!)
