cmuzz: not sure if there are other ways, but the way i'd do it is to save a photo (in .jpg format) to your desktop. then go to the photo forum, click on New Topic, and where it says something like "enter path," click on BROWSE. then just click on the little yellow folder with a black "up" arrow until you get to DESKTOP on your computer; click on the icon for the photo you want to use, fill in the rest of the info for your post (subject, message, etc.) and click on POST MESSAGE (or photo or whatever it says, just like you'd do to enter a regular message to the board).
your photo won't post immediately -- the folks at cbid have a look to make sure it's appropriate -- but it should within a day or so at the most. mine posted within a couple of hours.
