I will post on my own thread and say that this movie exceeded my lofty expectations. It was by far the best baseball movie I have ever seen! Factual and true to the season in every detail. He showed Maris as the quiet and unassuming person that he really was and Mantle as the outgoing rounder and hell raiser that he was in real life. No sugar coating and it made both the heroes and icons that they really were during a time when baseball fans were against the record being broken, but if it had to be broken they wanted it done by Mantle-not Roger! Great movie and wonderful portrayal of both players. Charlie
