it sucks, and whats even worse is the freaks the are going to be sitting next to you watching this movie, its also all in subtitles, no joe pesci or any three stooge face slapping anywhere in this film, I left the theater with a new found hatred for the Jewish and Christian faiths because they simply will not shut the hell up about this god awful movie, everywhere I turn and every channel on TV I see some dumbass ranting about jews and Christians. I think speaking of this movie should carry some type of jail sentence. I can only hope that they start passing out handguns in the theaters so these poor bastards that get roped into going to see this movie can simply shoot themselves in the head.

I highly recommend viewing any movie involving whisky and gorillas, exploding cars or even the Howard stern movie before going to see this flop.

Is anyone else sick of hearing about this movie on every radio, tv and newspaper outlet, or is it just me?

GTOman, my first thoughts after reading your review are unfit for public consumption so I'll just say I am praying for you soul. My suggestion in the future is to stay away from things you don't understand and don't publically ridicule things that you are clearly ignorant about.

BTW I too am a muscle car fan. I have restored #'s matching 1970 Chevelle SS396 and a 1968 Camaro RS/SS. The Camaro is a special order car with virtually every option available at the time. The Chevelle has won numerous trophies including first place at the Muscle Car Nationals at Norwalk Raceway.

When I was back there in seminary school there was a person there who put forth the proposition that you can petition the Lord with prayer

Petition the lord with prayer

Petition the lord with prayer

You cannot petition the lord with prayer!

Pablo, as a Jew, what you said is resentful, not thought out and basically crappy.

If you have read any of gto's previos posts, you would gather that he is most decidedly a Jew nor would any of his comments be of a Jew. Nor the Rolling Stone's "Sympathy for the Devil" be construed as a quote from a Jew.

If anything, I would peg GTO as neo nazi.

guys, can we knock off the jew-baiting and christian bashing altogether?

"we have religion enough to make people hate each other but not enough to make people love each other."

enough. seriously.

ilovemaui: welcome to cbid, and there actually are a lot of topics worthy of reading and discussing. i don't know what it is lately with all the jew and christian bashing, but it's not "the norm" and i hope the BOTLs here can hoist up enough integrity to let it drop now.

That’s funny, I remember you yelling at me on a post when I defended a innocent black boy that was shot and called for his murderer to be jailed, and on that post you are the one who sounded like a Nazi dog.

Also rayder1 you have a very closed mind, and like I said, im going to pray to our lord Jesus to forgive you for insulting me again. But I only have 24 hours in a day and I have been spending over 6 hours a day praying for your soul not to be cast into the depths of hell. You must repent.

I forgive you my son and so does our lord Jesus.

GOD’S MERCY ON YOU SWINE

Was I talking to you GTO? Sorry...I was talking to Pablo. I forgot you were the originator of this post.

Review your past 20-30 posts and see who's soul needs saving.

I keep getting baited by these stupid posts, I forgot GTO...your posts are still a waste of bandwidth.

Sorry Pablo maybe we can shake hands on another post.

Last thing...and I mean last thing. GTO, by other members of this forum, you have been frequently pointed out as failing to read what others have written but go off half cocked.

You say my posts on an earlier thread read like a nazi dog? Read tham again...I think you are either on drugs or have an undiagnosed / untreated mental issue.

Anyway...I appreciate all the hours you spend thinking about my soul. Maybe you should give yours a little more attention.

raider, So now you’re agreeing with me. That’s good that you can change your mind, my hours of praying for your soul not to rot in the depths of hell must have worked, for that im happy for you.

We must still work on your rage issue but with my help and the help of our lord Jesus we will pull you into the light.

I can see you in my mind all red face and full of anger at times, trying to read and understand my posts.

I can only offer you this advice and that is to look for the hidden meaning behind some of my posts, and to see the reply’s that they generate and only after that the true meaning of my writing comes out.

It’s nice to know that you fully agree with me now on all my topics, also please help me save the whales.

Thanks you

Hog, those are beautiful words and I thank you, and after I write my first book called temporary madness and lost dreams of the TV people, I will use those words as a selling advertisement on the front cover, not word for word but the general idea of what you wrote, I LOVE IT!

Also I will thank you personally and all the people of cbid on the back cover. after the books climbs to number 1 in all the stores I will throw a huge party and fly you into the city of sin, where we can all take drugs legally and drink hard liquor, then after that we will drop the top down in the gto and pick up five screaming hot lesbians that will be dancing in the back seat of the goat while we drive down the strip yelling at the squares. We will be the envy of all and have the video tapes to prove it. It will be a great day.

It's quite obvious, to me anyway, that GTO cannot be religious --- (or at least the judeo/christian type) --- I mean anybody who f***s with a guy whose name is Pablo Escabar doesn't need prayer, just a secure compound with armed guards and loud blaring rock music with lyrics that you can't understand to keep away the anticipated/expected reprisals.

By the way, thanks for spelling out the lyrics to Sympathy for the Devil === after 30 years I finally now know what MJ was singing (oops, that may be generous to call it singing?)

My lord man, you must have been a Nixon supporter. What kind of evil person does not like the stones. Holy Jesus your bad vibrations are flowing out of my TV. Go back and watch your bill oreilly.

My god, how did you come up with the name justforfun anyway? lol

LMAO. Nope, hated 'tricky ******.' I was too young to vote when he ran against HHH. Would've voted for HHH as my best friend was campaign manager for HHH in California (whom I met during one of his campaign stops here). By the time I was old enough to vote, I chose Eugene McCarthy (now there was a vote that was really worth something???).

By the way, I loved the Stones (just couldn't understand what the words to most of the songs were, and I truly don't believe that MJ can sing). I grew up in WLA so I was a real hard core Doors and Steppenwolf fan (met Jimi Hendrix and Mitch Mitchell when they were socializing with members of the Devil's Disciples - a branch of the Angels [no, it's not what your thinking, my friends older brother was a member]).

I can never run for political office as I ate lunch with ('Hanoi)Jane Fonda (with whom I strenuously disagreed)in 1973 while in College and I'm sure there are photos out there somewhere showing me (with long hair) and her together (seems to be the choice of attack by conservatives or in Kerry's case, other [democratic] candidates).

As to political persuasions, I suppose if an objective onlooker were to look at my history, they'd say I was either a conservative democrat or a centralist (I prefer 'none of your f*ng business). I've heard O'Reilly speak a few times, and while I'm not a fan or regular listener, I think he makes a lot of sense and makes mince meat out of (one of the most unfunny comedians ever to set foot on SNL) Al Frankin (although I did hear a few funny quips from Frankin during his book review appearance confrontation with O'Reilly).

Say hi to Pablo when he comes a knockin.

Well with "ALL" the hype about this movie..........Mel Gibson's laughing all the way to the bank on this one weather it's a flop or not...once you pay......he's got his cut and could care less weather you like it or not !
I'm not even going to pay to see this movie ! be it by going to the movies , or by renting it !
what religion's right or wrong? who's good or bad in the way they think ?
i believe there's something out there.....and as long as you treat people with good intentions and respect...."good" goes along way !! and all religions agree on that fact ! be good and true , for who or whatever is out there ! and i do believe in being good !

but as for who's right or wrong ? let hollywood figure it out ! i'm not buying it !

Saw it today. Very powerful! I did get something from it. And I was moved. It's going to take awhile to sort out. The scenes with Mary were particularly meaningful to me. I had similar feelings after seeing Schindler's List. Mel's going to win an Oscar for this one. Or he should.
