unbelievable.

just watched the story on 60 minutes about how NK school kids are reading The Diary of Anne Frank. the book was recently permitted to be printed in NK for a nominal $2,000 for the rights.

they're not getting anne's message, though. they're taught that americans are nazis; in fact, they're instructed to call us "american nazis" or "american warmongers" -- the only acceptable terms for us here. nice, hey?

they're being taught that america is going to start a war with them and that anne frank was a "loser" -- but the NK school kids must grow up to fight and prevail against us horrid, evil, cruel, wicked "american nazis."

meanwhile, kim da ill's name must not be spoken unless prefaced by the words "respected" or "beloved." so he's the "beloved leader" or "respected leader." sound anything like what hitler was called?

oh -- and GWB is referred to as "american hitler," by the way. whatever you think of dubya, i take grievous offense at him being compared to adolph hitler.

this is ALL seriously offensive -- an entire generation being indoctrinated in school to be ready to fight us "pen in one hand; weapon in the other" -- but it's a DOUBLE slap in the face to our american veterans who FOUGHT and DIED to defeat the nazi military, to bury hitler.

i'm just amazed at how NK has the balls to say "we will not beg for peace; we will crush the american nazis" and at the same time demand a friggin' handout from us. and i'm MORE amazed that we're going to GIVE it to them!

man, what a twisted world we live in!

60 Minutes?!? Hell, I stopped watching that nonsense after that clown make-up Rooney went bonkers over Bush 41 saying "God Bless America".

After CBS' rant that they called "The Reagan's"...I typed off a letter stating that I don't care if they're showing the NFL or the return of Jesus Christ I won't be watching it on their network, and haven't since!

65gto: yeah, i know. and clinton was the anti-christ according to some republicans and conservatives, too. name calling is a great american pastime.

it's a little scary, though, to hear school kids talking about how they want to see "every last american nazi dead."

Cav, it wasn't the republicans calling Clinton the anti-Christ! Remember the folks who said R-o-n-a-l-d (6) W-i-l-s-o-n (6) R-e-a-g-a-n (6) and saying that Reagan was the anti-Christ because his NAME was the source of the '666'!

It's not much different than the young nicaraguan children being taught that five ak47 and five bombs will make how many dead americans, all this back in the seventies. Good will always prevail over evil in the long run. I do however understand how you feel while we wait for another country to fall into democracy. It sux.

They ask for help and f*ck us over.......who else does that sound like? None other than Osama!

The US gov't needs to learn how to handle our foreign affairs a little better.
