Who will win the presidency?

Just a thought if anyone would be interested in setting up a bet of who will win the presidency. I think there are a few democrats here besides myself and I know there are a lot of republicans here. What if we get a few people to put their money (CIGARS) where their mouths are?

I think it could work like this for every bet placed there needs to be a counter bet I.E.

1 Democrat and 1 Republican

There would be no limit on the amount of people that bet as long as there is a matching number I.E. 5 democrats and 5 republicans

When the winner is announced all the respected party members would split the winnings.

We will delegate 1 party head to collect the winnings

The losers would send 5 Super Premiums each to the winner’s party head.

From there the winners will start a box pass and each member of the winning team will get to take out 5 cigars, the box will be passed in the order that you signed up. I.E. posted on this board that you want to take part.

What do ya’ll think?

Is this against the boards policy? If so I mean know disrespect and it should be taken down.

GIG’EM,

Dan

Keep in mind this is a long term thing and the winners wont get the cigars till November, December.

got an e-mail that may set things up to make the bet a bit better than i had it set up.

We would post odds based on how many bets come in for which candidate. For example, if you got 5 bets for a Democrat and 4 bets for a Republican then the odds would be 5 to 4 Democrat. If you got 3 Republican bets the next day the odds would be 7 to 5 Republican. If the Democrat wins the election then the five democratic bettors would divide the seven Republican cigars; if the Republican wins then the 7 Republican bettors will divide the 5 Democratic cigars. You divide the spoils by holding a lottery. The worst thing that can happen is that a person only gets their own cigar back.

Also to set a price point on cigars we could use c-bids sister site to get an idea on price. I was thinking, about something around the 7-12 dollar range.

Thanks for the help,

GIG'EM,

Dan
