Rick, how was Vegas? Did you smoke a lot of good cigars and win a lot of good, green cash? Report please? Charlie

played nickle slots as long as two micubano 850's would last, about 5 to 6 hours uninterrupted by people sitting next to me. even hit the 4 dueces and a royal and one about $100.00 dollars. had great strawberry chicken at the orleans. spent almost two hours at a coffee shop overlooking the casino enjoying a monte "A" and going into that world that only a superb cigar can take you. brought back 15 cartons of cigarrettes that my wife likes for $10.00 a carton. and had the excitement of having my car stolen from me at rifle point by a small gang of thiefs. as soon as the vegas pd activated my lojak, the found the car parked in less than an hours. the vegas pd were everything one hopes for, quick to respond, diligent in their search and concerned with helping me. in spite of everything every one told me, give them the car, give them the keyes, and walk away safe, there lays in my craw, the feeling i should have resisted and gone after the rifle. there was no damage to the car, they got about $20.00 worth of junk that was in the car and neither toby nor i were hurt. but it will take a little time to deal with, i should have done this, or i should have done that. rookie, i look to you for a response.

As much as it pisses you off, you did the right thing Rick. Your life is not worth a car. These "kids" are different today, they hold no value on life, yours or theirs. Glad to hear it turn out OK, and you are safe.

Sorry to hear about your mishap in Vegas. I'm glad you did the right thing and gave the car up. A dumber/stubborn-er (is that a word) man would be dead right now. I'm glad you're ok.
