One of our newer BOTL is in need! He is asking that I post here and just request your prayers (if you are a praying person) for his father in law. I just got back a little bit ago from visiting him in the hospital. His father in law is a awesome guy. I've had the privlege to know him for a long time, and be called one of his friends! (actually, he treats me like a son...great guy!) Anyway...cut to the chase Dave....He has been battling, and winning sometimes cancer over the last few years. He was given 30 days to live about 2 1/2 years ago. Anyway, he was having some seziure problems last night. A cat scan reveals tumors in the brain. So...while he seems pretty good now, it's possibly just a matter of time. Though we have given this to our Lord and Savior, so anything is possible. But yeah...my buddy Rick (you know him as crabbylane) would like you all to know. We were talking this morning and he said that we all seem like some pretty good people, that would care about something personal like this. Thanks to all and any of you that would do that for him! Too bad sending cigars wouldn't help! LOL

hang in there, man... there's nothing easy about this, but be as good to yourself and those with you as you can be. god bless and keep and sustain you.

Thanks to all of you for your prayers!!! Heading up to Portland in a hour or so to see his cancer DR. to see what the next steps we have to take. Ya know this is the part about getting older that I really hate! OOOOOHhhhhhh to be in my 20's again with NO worries...(LOL)
