Hey all - I'm baaaaaack home finally ... came in Sunday morning - had to finish some loose ends up - then I hit the road and drove home..... surprisingly enough ... my wonderful wife was nice enough to keep an eye on my humidor this time and all the cigars have kept VERY well .... it's a surprising feat for her considering that the last time I was 'out' she'd unplugged the humidor (for whatever reason I still don't know) and they all dried out.
Well, the Avallo smells great - the sticks were resting at 69/69 (great #'s in my opinion) and every stick has been in there now for over a year just sleeping ... I have about 16 boxes of "special" sticks I was able to acquire that will be joining the rest of their family for a much needed nap as well ... they survived the trip nicely ... but they will definately enjoy a nap before attending any parties....
It's good to be back - now I'm just trying to catch up on the boards here ... lot's of new names - a lot of the 'old group' is still here as well ... I've summarized it as some things will never change ...
Rick - try Viagra... if that doesn't work, consider hormone therapy ... but there's just something about grown men hating 'bush' that concerns me ... LOL
X - still lurking in the shadows I see ....
Hog - where were you over there? I was trying to find a way to set up a herf with anyone else here on the boards that may have been over ...
Slim - the Montecristo's are by far the best ones I've ever lit up ... the 898's are the perfect morning smoke ...
Marla - just had to mention your name so you wouldn't get a complex that nobody was paying attention to you ... I think I've found the perfect t-shirt for you as well ... it says "Keep staring ... I may do a trick" ... and I can just picture you wearing it and amusing yourself by standing in front of the mirror for hours on end just waiting .....
Well, time for some more periodic maintenance on the wife ... we'll be back lurking in a couple of hours ...
