Actually it was the 1966 team...under the Hall of Fame coach Don Haskins...

And here is the trivial pursuit part of it...

1. UTEP was the first team to start an all African American lineup.

2. They beat Kentucky who at that had a young player by the name of Pat Riley...

I have 2 alma Mater's in the tournament
One is the proud Huskies of Washington

The other may not even make it to Thursday in the NCAA the tournament, but they're in and they're probably a sentimental favorite of the CBid staff.

Remember guys... all our cigars come through the Lehigh Valley and that's reason enough to cheer for my other alma mater Lehigh University against Florida A & M tonight!! Winner will get skewered by Kentucky but for now there is hope.... Go Mountain Hawks!!!

there are still a few tragglers figuring out how it works and getting signed on...

The only way to win the pool is to pick the tournament winner, since you get 47 points for picking the winner of the 6th round. 32 for the pool and 15 bonus points for having a perfect bracket.

Therefore, I beleive that I can only win if Stanford wins. Unfortunately 5 others picked Stanford so really I'm only playing against those 5. If Stanford loses it really doesn't matter what my other picks do.

Go Stanford!!!!!!!

Rocco... I like how you pointed out your points advantages.. but YOUR team still has to pull the Weight to the Championships at least at the Final 4 stage to Place in a forth.....and then you have a possible 31 other members who are bidding at that forth place spot also....

I took Nevada also.... UNLV in Tournament Play are tough!!!! Always have been always will be...

but they wont win it LMAO!!!!

I took the same teams for that play as this play and the play for the 57" plasma TV give away locally here.... I can cash in my 19" I got in the Divorce years ago if I win that BMF!!!!!

By the way.....hope not many of you have SEC teams going very far. All of them are already out of the NIT,and Florida lost and BAMA held on. It looks like the SEC may not have been that good after all.
