Just tried a Cupido (I think it was a Lonsdale), left by someone from our old box-pass. The 'gar had alot of age on it considering there was some green bloom on the wrapper. I didn't know these were so tasty! Do they have to be aged before they get really good or are they good right out of the box? Also, what's the best style? do they make a Maduro?.....questions answered are greatly appreciated.....Cheers....Brent

GREEN BLOOM??? I don't thing bloom is green. Bloom is saltpeter crystals, and is usually clear or white ... green could be water spots, I've seen that before. Let's just hope the green stuff wasn't mold ...

I have NEVER had a Cupido that wasn't great right out of the box. One of my favorite all-time brands. My favorite is the Toro Negro (4.2 from SMOKE mag), my favorite maduro (besides the Padron Anniversario Maduro). They have two really good box-pressed cigars too, the Gran Robusto (90 from Cigar Insider) and the Corona Canela (4.3 from SMOKE mag). The pricetag, you get what you pay for with the Cupido. They range in price from approx. $5-8 a stick. Corona is the least expensive at about $5/stick.

Cupidos seem too mild for me...I haven't had one I particularly cared for...Now La Perla Habanas are another story!...YUMMY!

if you buy a box of the small torpedo you get a free roach clip, so you can smoke it down to the very last leaf. I use these now for tie clips, very nice! I seldom say this, but these are quite good right out of the box.

The Toro Negro (Black Bull) is my favorite Cupido. I'd smoke Cupidos all the time if I could afford them. They're just too damn expensive for daily consumption.

If the green spots are flat without dimension then they are water spots..
